Communist China as a neighbour is the most dangerous country for all those who share a border with it. And, particularly it is so in the case of India. This China is burning with a desire – the desire to dominate the world. In the fulfilment of this desire, India comes in its way as an impediment.
India is not an equal – or almost an equal – rival in its ambition but a colossal threat to China. India is a colossal threat to China not so much in its geographical size or military power but in something more potent in consequences: India is the spiritual colossal, which is increasingly garnering the worldwide sympathy and winning appeal of humanity.
In this respect, Communist China stands nowhere in comparison to India’s strength. But this strength of India is bound to put this country in a moral dilemma.
Communist China can be countered – and even can be neutralized in long run – by India by strengthening its economy by taking measures like ‘make in India’, equipping its military with latest technological hardware, with and without global assisting and collaborating nations, and becoming an active partner of the emerging international coalitions against this rising Chinese ambition.
But if this path is adopted, India would need to apply all the well established principles of military science – like putting in place a planning not confining itself to defend but to take initiative against China that suits its military ends and pursuing an active long term strategy that suits its interests. There are many such weak spots available in China – like hostile Tibetan people and their head in India (his call to rise and assistance by India would create havoc in that part, which is suppressed by force !); restive area of Xinjiang populated by Muslims and a large number of Muslims living in India (a movement for Xinjiang Muslims’ freedom may create another hotspot in China !); and, create a chain-reaction there – that is, forcing them to commit brutalities against their own people, the more they suppress their people, the more hated they become, which will quicken their down fall !!
All these ways would call India to embark on a path of ‘mad nationalism’, which would compel India to out-perform yesterday’s Hitler and today’s Communist China.
But this thing is not in the DNA of India; India has never done it in its long history; and, this quality of its DNA is not its weakness but its strength. It would look that this trait of its history has put India in a bind: whether to embark on a national mission to make India a military power, equal or better than China; or to remain a whipping boy of China and to be nibbled by it bit by bit till this India is reduced to a non-entity.
It is a moral dilemma before India of 21st century.
At this crucial juncture of its life, India needs to be guided by its spiritual wisdom and the immortal elements of its long history, which have allowed this India to remain even today a colossal power and a light for humanity. Becoming a military power – or a ‘super’ power – and detonating bombs, and atomic bombs if need be, is not the path of India.
This path, if pursued with sincerity and determination, leads to destruction – and, today it is destruction of humanity. India has not to follow this path and still has to defends itself against this ‘mad’ China.
How can it be done?
The bottom-line is: India has to defend itself and has to defend only – till the day this China meets its ‘Waterloo’. Everywhere in this universe, it is only the spiritual forces that are playing behind the apparent events. This truth must never be allowed to be forgotten by India. Let these forces play their role. They play their part with the instrumentality of time and with the medium of human hearts.
Communist China is nearing inch by inch to its red line and with its every move human hearts are appalled with disgust against it in equal amount.
What India needs to do is to prepare in all possible ways – military, economy, global strategy, coalition etc. – to defend itself against China; and, allow time – through the medium of humanity – to strike this China!
Communist China has no future. At best it is hated by the world and by its own people for its evil ways and at the worst it will push this world into a devastating World Wat 3. Either way, its days are numbered.
India needs neither to fear nor to worry about this China and be on the constant vigil and get prepared itself to meet its challenge, as and when it comes. Of course, it does not mean that India should remain an inactive, pathatic or careless third-rate country. On the contrary, it should act with energy and wisdom, and advocate for peace, equity and international order.
