There is an idiom, ‘Beating around the bush.’ This expression according to dictionary means speaking vaguely or euphemistically so as to avoid talking directly about an unpleasant or sensitive topic. There is another statement often repeated in the context of terrorism, ‘All Muslims are not terrorists but all terrorists are Muslims.’ How much truth is there in this statement?
We are concerned here about terrorists and terrorism, and the danger it poses not just to one country but to the entire humanity. We are not concerned here about religion – any religion, including Islam – that is solely concerned with humans and their relation with God or with some unseen Supreme Divine Power that belongs to another world – the world hereafter.
We are concerned about things that are very much of this world – things that belong to this world only and not to the world hereafter. Those who are occupied with the things that belong to another world – the world hereafter – are nice people; they are the light and hope of this world; they are welcome to the humanity; they have always been welcome to the humanity. It is good that they so occupy themselves with their heavenly pursuit; and, they are the lovely gift to the humanity of this fleeting and mundane world.
But the danger to humanity – the danger of total annihilation of humanity – is not from people so preoccupied with their spiritual pursuits but from those who are very much occupied with the concerns of this world, though in the name of their concerns for the world hereafter. They are terrorists for this world. They are concerned with this world; they want to re-order this world. They are the bane of humanity; they are the scourge of our race – Homo sapiens.
The old idiom ‘Beating around the bush’ today translates into another idiom of a very recent origin, ‘Being politically correct.’ People around the world who matter – leaders of their countries – think that they cannot afford to talk directly about an unpleasant or sensitive issue of terrorism. This predicament is not with the leaders of democratic countries alone, where seeking public votes is a major concern of political leaders. It is a worldwide mental attitude of politicians. Even in the countries where people’s votes are not needed to come to political power, like China, the leaders follow this old edge of beating around the bush – or speaking vaguely or euphemistically – and safely tread their political career.
But how long the humanity can afford to look the other way? How long the humanity can afford to beat around the bush and not come to the point – the real issue, the crux, the root – in dealing this scourge of humanity called terrorism? The common sense must tell the humanity that it is only a matter of time – scores of a few decades or even a few years – that the atomic weapons will be in the hands of terrorists. It cannot be avoided forever. It is the dead sure reality. No one has power to stop the ingenuity of humans, not even of the terrorists.
And no one needs to be told today what atomic weapons, if used, can do to humanity. It will bring catastrophe to the life, including humans, where they are detonated. And, if there is retaliatory strike it may set of a panic chain reaction forcing all others to use! It will be a hell on the Earth. Terrorists can very well – without a second thought – use these atomic weapons if they find themselves defeated in the contest with their antagonists. They would not hesitate to use them – use them to kill themselves and taking down all others with them – just to earn the heavenly rewards for their martyrdom in the world hereafter, in the world of their imagination! The only condition for the terrorists to use these atomic weapons is to possess them – to lay hands on them. Nothing more is needed to explode them!
For them who are concerned with their welfare in this world – and not in the world hereafter – it is not material to find out the real meaning of the holy text that is meant for Muslims. For them it is material to find out the meaning of this text as it is understood by terrorists. It is a dispute between Muslims and terrorists to ascertain its true meaning and it is they alone who have to sort it out between them. How this text is understood by the terrorists and their organizations is clear from what they are doing worldwide, of which organizations a list is given here.
Let the humanity not beat around the bush and let the humanity grapple with the issue – how to uproot the root cause – of this humanity’s scourge.
The issue before the humanity is how to save our children – the future generations of humanity – from the toxic teachings of terrorism; how to safeguard our children, our future, our Earth from the toxic text that mentally prepares the terrorists. Is it impossible to achieve this objective? Is it our mental estimation of the impossibility of achieving such a goal that forces us to avoid directly talking about the issue – forces us to beat around the bush?
There can be many ways to deal with this problem, the technological and the non-technological in nature. In technological ways may be medical and psychological ones. It is possible for the united humanity to employ the psychological methods to stop the brain-washing of children by pumping repeatedly into their young mind such ideas and then reinforce them by public display of symbols associated with such ideas.
This could be achieved by prohibiting worldwide the teaching of this toxic text to a child till he is an adult of mature mind. This prohibition could be implemented internationally by enforcing economic sanctions and political isolation against those who refuse to fall in line. For the success of such a possibility it is necessary for the international community to first stop beating around the bush and to grapple directly with the real issue. Humanity would need to create a consensus to tackle this challenge to its survival.

And, as if this marauding crowed of fanatics ready to die is not enough, these armed groups practice deceit to vanquish their enemies – Kaffirs – and have a religious technical term for practising this deceit, called Taqia. Have a look at the kinds of Taqia:
There are SIX DIFFERENT WAYS of deception that are permissible in Islam with the holy blessing of Sharia law:
1) taqiyya,
2) kitman,
3) tawriya,
4) taysir,
5) darura,
6) muruna
•Taqiyya (Shia) or Muda’rat (Sunni): tactical deceit for the purposes of spreading Islam.
•Kitman: deceit by omission.
•Tawriya: deceit by ambiguity.
•Taysir: deceit through facilitation (not having to observe all the tenets of Sharia).
•Darura: deceit through necessity (to engage in something “Haram” or forbidden).
•Muruna: the temporary suspension of Sharia to make Muslim migrants appear “moderate.”
As a result, Muslim look and feel ‘good’ when they lie to the DIRTY KUFAAR.”
A well-informed article detailing EIGHT kinds of Jihad being waged by these groups and using these tactics or Taqia is available HERE:
