I keep hearing this very often – not from those who have been his staunchest opponents, but from those who claim to be on the right side of the political spectrum – a statement, ‘We will teach Modi a lesson in 2019 elections’!

Tihis includes many whose ideology lies in the far-right. Their demands, though justified, are more often too practical to be implemented right now given the current situation. Shri Narendra Modi, did not “promise” any of the demands like construction of Ram Mandir, removing Art.370, implementing 2-child policy, freeing temples from government control, abolishing income tax, etc.

These were “expectations” which the far right had from Narendra Modi as they “assumed” him to be one of them. Fine. But did he promise any of these in the manifesto?

You just expected these things because you “assumed” he will do it. But he was always silent on it. Whatever he promised in the manifesto, he has achieved many of them. (You can still check the election manifesto of BJP in the run up to 2014 elections). PDF of the Manifesto : https://www.bjp.org/images/pdf_2014/full_manifesto_english_07.04.2014.pdf

It is not that he has cheated you. It is not that he lied to you. He never sold you the dreams of Ram Mandir. He never sold you the dreams of freeing temples from government control – neither in his speeches, nor in manifesto.

All along in the run-up to 2014 elections, he kept on addressing mostly 6 things –
1. Corruption (Making governance transparent)
2. Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas
3. Financial inclusion of the lowest section
4. Economic development focused on rural areas/poor.
5. Boosting infrastructure – roads, railways, electricity, providing LPG.
6. Safety and security

Let us come to the question of “teaching” him a lesson because you created expectations in your mind and wanted them to be fulfilled in four years.

Now you “feel” cheated and hence want to teach Narendra Modi Ji a “lesson” in 2019.

So please listen:

He will be 68 year old in 2019. He has no son or daughter. He doesn’t have a family. He doesn’t have an heir. His brothers (except one) and cousins still live in very small houses and live on less than a few thousand rupees per month by selling kites, snacks or working as a staff at petrol pump. He has no one after him.

He has already achieved all that one can dream of – Chief Minister of Gujarat for 4 times, Prime Minister of India to win absolute majority on his own after 30 years, heralding a new era and the list is endless.

You like it or not, very few leaders in the world (yes, WORLD) are as popular as him. I am not saying this – most of the international leaders, policy experts, diplomats and media houses agree to it.

He will retire as the former Prime Minister of India. He will get all the facilities he gets today – a posh bungalow, a bulletproof SUV, an SPG cover, invitation from foreign countries, academic institutes, economic agencies and all you can think of.

After another 10-12 years, he will get old and retire from public life. Once you have taught him a “lesson”, no leader in the next 100 years will even dare to wage a war against corruption and systemically make the system transparent.

You will have “taught” Modi a “lesson”!

Today, all of the right repent (openly or secretly) that voting out Vajpayee Ji was the biggest mistake we did in 2004, yet want to teach Modi Ji a “lesson” in 2019.

Remember, teaching Narendra Modi ji a “lesson” will never ever matter to him. He has already achieved everything and has cemented his place firmly in the history.

He will leave nothing and no one behind himself, except his legacy….and the legacy will go on forever!

Remember one thing, you all Hindus who feel disgruntled of Modi: In your eagerness to ‘teach Modi a lesson’, you will not be teaching any lesson at all to him but you will be teaching a lesson to yourself only – ‘a lesson’ that will be lesson of your life, a lesson that will be bitter to you and a lesson that will not be limited to your life only but would also be a lesson to your future generations!!

If Modi cannot make Ram Mandir, we will vote for those who will destroy currently existing temples!!

If Modi cannot abolish Income Tax, we will vote for those who will loot & indulge in scams with our Income Tax!!

If Modi cannot free temples from government control, we will vote for those who will even ban the RSS and VHP by declaring them terrorist organisations!!

If Modi cannot restrict the population explosion in India, we will vote for those who will encourage more births in India by declaring producing children a legal right of those who do so!!

If Modi cannot eradicate rampant corruption in official machinery, you will vote for those who will be not only the masters of corruption but also would protect them who help them to indulge in corruption and would punish them who dare to raise any voice against such corruption!!
